How does NMT works?

NMT may be done for the purpose of restoring or as preventive measures or even as a complementary therapy. Typical sessions for this therapy can last for thirty to sixty minutes.
Similar to acupressure, the therapist uses fingers, elbows, knuckles and pressure bars when massaging to locate and treat the affected areas. A light touch works better to identify trigger points while pressure bars are most effective in discharging continued muscular spasms.
When affected areas are found, the therapists then do a series of static pressure manipulations and methods use to strengthen the underlying muscle as well as stretch and lengthen it. NMT methods do includes trigger point therapy, muscle energy therapies, myofascial and positioned release. NMT also promotes endorphin production, restore a healthy balance within the body’s major system and improves immune function.
