Spinal brace is a tool that is use in the body for various reasons. Surgeons usually prescribed brace after spinal fusion surgery to avoid all movements in the spine for several months. This is important so that the fusion will have the time to heal and grow. However braces that are use just to correct posture, encourage safe lifting practices or mild back pain is only worn as needed.
